Technical SEO Services and Audits That Fix What Holds Rankings Back
Great content can’t rank if Google can’t crawl it, index it or load it quickly on a phone. Technical SEO finds those problems, fixes them in order of impact and proves the fix in Search Console.
Why sites don't rank
Six technical problems behind most ranking drops
Most technical SEO issues fall into a short list. Each one quietly costs traffic until someone looks at the site the way Google does.
Pages not indexed
Blocked by robots.txt, a stray noindex tag or marked 'Crawled – currently not indexed' in Search Console.
Duplicate pages
The same content on several URLs, from parameters, http/https or www versions, splitting signals between them.
Broken links & redirects
404s, redirect chains and links to old URLs that waste crawling and lose the value of past links.
Slow on phones
Heavy images, scripts and fonts that push loading past 2.5 seconds on a mid-range phone.
Mobile problems
Content or links missing on the mobile version, which is the version Google now crawls and indexes.
Missing structured data
No schema for your business, services, products, reviews or FAQs, so Google has less to show in results.
The audit
A website SEO audit you can actually act on
I crawl the whole site the way Googlebot does, then cross-check it against Search Console, GA4 and real-user speed data. You don’t get a 200-page export of warnings. You get a short list of problems ranked by how much traffic each one is costing, with the fix for each.
Technical SEO is part of my SEO services in Delhi, and the audit can also be done on its own before a redesign or after a traffic drop.
1 listof fixes, ranked by impact, not 500 warnings
- Crawl & indexingRobots.txt, sitemaps, noindex, canonicals, status codes
- Speed & Core Web VitalsField data from real Chrome users, mobile first
- Site structureInternal links, orphan pages, URL depth, pagination
- Structured dataSchema validated and matched to visible content
Best for: sites with good content that still don't rank, sites that lost traffic, and any site about to be redesigned or migrated.
Core Web Vitals
Speed that passes Google's Core Web Vitals
Google measures page experience with three Core Web Vitals: LCP (the main content loads within 2.5 seconds), INP (the page responds to taps within 200 milliseconds) and CLS (the layout stays stable, under 0.1). It recommends good scores for success in Search, and they’re measured on real visitors’ devices, not lab tests.
Only 48% of mobile sites pass all three. Loading is the hardest: just 62% of sites meet the LCP target on mobile. Fixes usually mean compressed and correctly sized images, fewer third-party scripts, font and caching changes, and reserving space so nothing jumps.
- Images converted to WebP or AVIF and sized correctly
- Third-party scripts delayed or removed
- Caching, a CDN and lighter fonts
- Space reserved for images, ads and embeds
Crawling & indexing
Every important page crawled, indexed and understood
Before a page can rank it has to be discovered, crawled, rendered and indexed. Since July 2024 Google crawls with its smartphone crawler, and content that isn’t accessible on mobile can’t be indexed, so the mobile version is the one that counts.
For most small and medium sites, crawl budget isn’t the issue: Google’s own guide is aimed at sites with over 10,000 fast-changing or a million pages. The usual problems are simpler and more fixable: pages blocked by mistake, weak internal links, duplicates and missing canonicals.
- Sitemaps that list only the pages you want indexed
- Canonical tags on every duplicate or parameter URL
- Internal links so no important page is orphaned
- JavaScript content checked as Google renders it
Beyond speed
Structure, schema and safe migrations
The rest of technical SEO is about making your site easy for Google to understand, and keeping it that way when things change.
Structured data
Organisation, LocalBusiness, Service, Product, FAQ and Breadcrumb schema, validated and matching what's visible on the page.
Site architecture
Important pages within three clicks of the homepage, with descriptive internal links and clean, readable URLs.
Redesigns & migrations
Every old URL mapped and 301-redirected, titles and content carried over, and Search Console watched after launch.
HTTPS & security
One secure version of the site, no mixed content and no hacked or spam pages in the index.
International setup
Hreflang and country targeting for sites serving India, the UAE or the US in more than one language or region.
Ongoing monitoring
Monthly crawls and Search Console checks, so new errors are caught before they cost rankings.

FAQ
Technical SEO: frequently asked questions
Still have a question? Call +91 93545 74690, message me on WhatsApp or email aniketranks@gmail.com.
What is technical SEO?
The work that helps search engines crawl, render, index and understand your site: indexing, site speed, mobile usability, redirects, duplicate content, structured data and site structure. It doesn’t replace content and links, but they can’t work without it.
How long does a technical SEO audit take?
Usually three to seven days for a small or medium site, including a call to walk you through the findings. Large stores and sites with thousands of pages take longer.
Do Core Web Vitals affect rankings?
Google says they’re part of the page experience its ranking systems reward and recommends good scores for success in Search. They aren’t the strongest factor, but a slow site loses visitors and enquiries regardless of rank.
Can you fix the issues, or only find them?
Both. I fix most issues myself on WordPress and Shopify and on many custom sites. For complex custom builds I write a clear brief for your developer and check the work.
Why does Search Console say 'Crawled – currently not indexed'?
Google visited the page but chose not to index it, often because it looks thin, duplicates another page or isn’t well linked. The fix is usually better content, a canonical tag or stronger internal links, not resubmitting it.
Do I need a technical audit before a redesign?
Yes, ideally. Recording which pages bring traffic and links before the redesign makes it possible to keep those URLs or redirect them properly, which is how rankings survive a relaunch.
Do you need access to my website?
Read access to Google Search Console and GA4 is enough for the audit. To make fixes, I need an admin or developer login, which you can remove afterwards.
